MBC Adults
MBC Adults is part of our MBC Equip Ministries. MBC Adults is a ministry designed to teach and equip our adults to take the next step in growing to know and love God more through His Word. These adult classes meet on Wednesday nights from September to May at the church, from 7:00-8:15 p.m. These courses are meant to provide in-depth study of God's Word in a fellowship-oriented context. Classes are arranged by topic, usually related to one of three categories - a book of the Bible, Doctrine, or Christian Life.
Men's and Women’s Groups
Our men's and women’s groups meet regularly throughout the year, in a variety of contexts. Sometimes they gather for Bible study or a service project. Other times it's just for fellowship or fun! Check our events page for any upcoming events or Bible studies.
Growth Groups
On Sunday nights during the school year we gather together in small groups both in homes around the Grimes and Des Moines area and online, from 6-7:30 p.m. During the summer, groups typically meet on Wednesday nights. These Growth Groups go through sermon-based discussion questions from the previous Sunday’s message, pray together, spiritually encourage one another, and provide an opportunity for connection and growth in a small group setting. Bible Reading
We encourage our adults to get together on a weekly basis to read God's Word. These can be one on one contexts or larger contexts. If you are interested in connecting with someone to read the Bible, click here.
